Return and Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

• Deposit payments made to Free Spirit Experiences are non-refundable.
• A 50% refund will be issued for non-deposit payments when cancellation occurs 45 days prior to your arrival date. 
• For cancellations less than 45 days prior to your trip arrival date,  all payments are non-refundable.  
• The total balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. 
• If payment is not made in full at least 15 days prior to your arrival date, your spot will be forfeited with no refund.  
• A name change on a deposit is permitted for a $150 fee up to 15 days before the trip. 

TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY

Free Spirit Experiences reserves the right to cancel any retreat prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes, etc.), which may impede retreat operations. The refund of all payments as described in the paragraph below shall release Free Spirit Experiences from any further liability. A retreat cancellation due to insufficient numbers would normally occur at least a month prior to departure, unless acts of God, war, strikes or other events impede our departure causing large numbers of participants to opt to cancel participation on the journey in the last days before departure. 

Free Spirit Experiences must make substantial payments to suppliers far in advance of the scheduled date of the retreat. If the retreat is canceled due to forces beyond our control (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.) Free Spirit Experiences will promptly refund the portion of the retreat cost not advanced to suppliers. Free Spirit Experiences will use its best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible, and will refund to you the amount recovered, if any. However, Free Spirit Experiences does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made. 

TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE 

We strongly recommend purchasing Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance. Travel insurance information is enclosed with your trip planning materials, but we recommend purchasing Travel Insurance when you buy your flight. This can help prevent needless loss in case of serious illness, accident, or death of a family member, and provides compensation for medical care abroad or lost or damaged luggage during flights. Please carefully read the terms of your airline's policy before purchase.
