Perri Heller - Founder
Perri Heller is a Licensed Educator, Reiki Master, Retreat Leader, and Medicine Woman. Starting her journey as an entrepreneur more than a decade ago, Perri quit her teaching job to live in Colombia, where she founded her first retreat company to help people explore the power of transformative travel.
As she evolved, so did her business, shifting into healing, reiki, and eventually, plant medicine. While traveling the world, Perri found a variety of mentors, from Colombian shamans to a modern medicine woman who introduced her to Acacia, the Egyptian Tree of Life. From her first ceremony with Acacia, Perri felt a deep remembrance of her work with this plant spirit in previous lifetimes, and recognition of her soul's calling to serve this medicine once again.
Perri believes each individual is their own best healer, so she aims to create spaces that educate and empower others to explore deep within themselves to remember their unique gifts and wisdom. Through coaching, retreats, and ceremonies, Perri inspires people to harness the magic within them for deep healing and authentic expression to realize their full potential and highest purpose, while appreciating every present moment of this beautiful existence.
Adrienne Dawkins - Cofounder
Adrienne is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background. While completing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, and Society, she started her career in hospitality, where she developed customer service and management skills. Adrienne also gained experience in the corporate sector, where she refined her business development skills working for a variety of startups.
An avid traveler, Adrienne was thrilled with the opportunity to join this company in a role that perfectly combined her passion for travel and her previous experience. As the company evolved, it aligned even more perfectly with her desire for deep healing and community connection.
At Free Spirit, Adrienne's role surrounds business development, including facilitating real estate transactions, implementing marketing strategies, and managing finances while upholding the company's mission and values. Adrienne is dedicated to creating a positive impact in the world and believes that business can be a force for good. She is proud to bring that belief to life every day through her role with Free Spirit Experiences.
Dr. Stephanie Burgos - Facilitator
Dr. Stephanie Burgos is a Shamanic Physician, Modern Medicine Woman, and Transformational Guide devoted to helping women reclaim their fullest expression, heal from the inside out, and step into their most radiant, embodied selves. Bridging the worlds of Western medicine and ancient healing traditions, she creates powerful spaces for deep healing, liberation, and transformation… where women shed the weight of repression, awaken their primal wisdom, and reconnect to their body’s innate intelligence.
After years of chronic stress, pushing her body to its limits, and experiencing deep burnout and fatigue, Stephanie found herself at a breaking point that led her to the profound world of plant medicine, where she spent five years working intimately with Ayahuasca, mushrooms, Bufo, Kambo, and ultimately Acacia.
As a Medicine Woman, Stephanie weaves together somatic healing, breathwork, sacred rituals and energetic recalibration to guide women into a state of deep alignment, vitality, and sovereignty. Her work is a homecoming… a remembrance of the wild, wise, and fully alive woman that has always been within. For those who feel the call, she welcomes them with an open heart, knowing firsthand the profound healing and awakening it can bring.
Michelle Escalera - Facilitator
Michelle is a trauma-informed medicine guide and expansion coach. She holds space for people to remember themselves, reclaim their power, and integrate experiences that change everything.
Her journey has taken her from the underground of medicine work to the frontlines of research and reform. She's worked with MAPS, advocating for trauma-informed plant medicine practices, collaborating with clinicians, researchers, and Indigenous wisdom keepers. Michelle brings ancient wisdom and modern science together in a way that is real, grounded, and heart-centered.
In her work with Acacia, Michelle has created unique and intimate spaces for women's work, men's work, goddess activation, authentic expression, and unwavering self-love. Those who are held in Michelle's ceremonial spaces can feel the incredible love, nurturing, and safety that emanate from her being.
Tara Powell - Facilitator
To her core, Tara is a Medicine Woman and Integration Coach. She is also a registered nurse with 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health. While working in traditional healthcare, Tara felt called to try plant medicine, and the experience changed her life completely.
Tara chose to dive into the world of psychedelic healing and now leads ceremonies around the world, holding space for others to heal through music, light language, sound frequency, and integration support for both groups and individuals. Tara's authenticity and absolute certainty in her purpose is inspiring and incredibly expansive for those blessed with the opportunity to share in her sacred spaces.
Although Tara has extensive experience facilitating ceremonies with many plants, including Ayahuasca, Wachuma, Psilocybin, and Bufo, she feels a special connection with the feminine spirit of Acacia, which she is honored to share in ceremony.

A Journey to Freedom
I'm Perri Heller, founder of Free Spirit Experiences, and I'm thrilled that you're here because you're in for a life-changing adventure!
My own adventure began a decade ago when I decided to quit my job as a high school teacher while traveling in Cartagena, Colombia. After just four days in the city, I knew I would live there. So I found a sublet for my apartment in Philadelphia, and moved a month later to follow my dreams.
It was from Colombia that I launched my first travel company to help people discover a lifestyle of freedom as a digital nomad. But over time I realized that true freedom requires a lot more than a laptop and coworking space.
In order to break free from society’s programming, we must take a deeper look into our minds, patterns, and beliefs about the world. This is especially true of our emotions, which we were taught to suppress, rather than to feel and harness for their incredible power.
As I went on my own journey of healing to better understand my thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, I found a new level of freedom I never imagined possible. I took my power back and was able to discover my full potential to create my reality and manifest my dream life.
As I evolved, Free Spirit evolved with me, and has become a more beautiful creation than I ever could have dreamed. My team and I have transformed our travel company into a safe place for people to unlock their most authentic expression, their deepest desires, their greatest gifts, and the truth of who they are.
Free Spirit is leading the way to freedom, and these days, our favorite way to support people is through plant medicine. Whether it's through a transformational retreat, a one-night ceremony, or a month-long microdosing protocol, we have found so much support from our plant allies that we are honored to share.
